Today is a whoopsy whiffling day, because it’s Roald Dahl Day!

News

TODAY (Wednesday 13 September) is one of our favourite days of the year – Roald Dahl Day!

The whizzpopping day of fun is held on 13 September every year, to celebrate the life and works of Roald Dahl. Roald Dahl’s genius brought us unforgettable stories (and characters) like Matilda, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, The Twits and Fantastic Mr Fox. Who’s your favourite?

The theme for this year’s Roald Dahl Day is ‘heroes’. Six special models of child heroes from Roald Dahl’s books have been created using LEGO, just for the occasion. The incredible models will go on display around the country on 13 September.

Check out this very cool map of where you can see the heroes.

Look out for some amazing pictures and fantastic facts about the Roald Dahl LEGO heroes in First News later this month.
