“FAKE news” has been named the word of the year by dictionary publisher Collins.
The phrase gained particular attention after it was used by US President Donald Trump in his criticism of the media.
Collins Dictionary said usage of the phrase had increased by 365% in the last 12 months.
The term will now become an entry in next year’s dictionary.

My word of the year is sesquipedalian, or something like that! It means a loving of words. Example: "As someone who is quite sesquipedalian, I make it my mission to use loads of long words in all my conversations."

You shouldn't believe the news all the time because anyone can post anything without realising if it is fake or true
