DOCTOR Who’s first female Time Lord will be joined by three new ‘friends’.

Jodie Whittaker, who will make her first appearance as the 13th Doctor this Christmas, will be joined in the TARDIS by newcomers to the series: Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill.

The biggest of those names is definitely Bradley Walsh, who before Doctor Who, has been a comedian, singer, presenter of the chase and former professional footballer.

Big changes

Also announced as a new cast member is Sharon D Clarke, although whether she’ll be playing friend or foe is yet to be seen.

Incoming showrunner Chris Chibnall said of the new line-up: “The new Doctor is going to need new friends. We’re thrilled to welcome Mandip, Tosin and Bradley to the Doctor Who family.”
