READ: AMAZING! Woman completes the Great South Run in a bionic suit

News

A PARALYSED woman has triumphantly completed the Great South Run in a bionic suit.

Claire Lomas completed the 10-mile course in 24 hours, using the robotic suit and crutches to get around. She continued throughout the night to make it to the finish line in Portsmouth and was met with huge applause.

This was the latest in a long list of challenges for Claire, who broke her back in a horse-riding accident 10 years ago. Since her accident, she’s helped to raise thousands of pounds for charity.

An inspriation

In 2014, Claire used the bionic suit to complete the London Marathon!
