Data policy – under 16s

In order to enter competitions, vote in polls and post comments on stories and videos, a user must first complete the registration form.

During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address).This information is held by First News UK Ltd.

The postal address will only ever be used to contact or send prizes to competition winners.

We will NEVER pass personal individual information of Under 16s on to third parties.

Surveys

First News, working in partnership with Opinion Matters, will occasionally feature surveys to get children’s views on topics which concern them. We will only share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
